Jimena de la Frontera premieres as the “home” of Eurafrica Trail on the northern shore of the Territory. We are especially excited about this change, because of the direct consequences that it will have for the entire South African caravan in terms of comfort, safety and attractiveness at an experiential level, because with the move we offer the possibility to all our runners, companions and volunteers to live for a few days in a beautiful white village traditional and representative of the culture of this part of the world. Jimena is one of the towns that make up the Campo de Gibraltar, with a very special identity, a melting pot of cultures, it has been the site of numerous towns throughout its history, which have contributed to its DNA many ingredients including hospitality, a cuisine with character and a lot of flavour, linked to its environment, a very personal architecture, representative in turn of the group of towns in southern Spain or the maintenance of traditions and ways of earning a very personal living, linked to its geographical location.
